Nike designs, develops, markets and sells athletic footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories and services under the Nike, Jordan and Converse brands. Nearly all of its products are manufactured by independent contractors, and nearly all footwear, apparel and equipment is manufactured outside the United States. Products are sold through Nike Direct operations, comprising Nike-owned retail stores and its digital platforms, and to wholesale accounts that include independent distributors, licensees and sales representatives.
